Traditional Chinese medicine has been extensively used in the treatment of female infertility. Recently many acupuncturists have become interested in enriching their knowledge of infertility treatment using traditional Chinese medicine. Our association, Traditional Chinese Medicine Association & Alumni (TCMAA), has therefore decided to host a seminar. The details are described below.

Dr. Dov B. Goldstein


          Dr. Dov B. Goldstein is a dedicated and experienced Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility specialist. He had substantial training in this evolving field and is one of their pioneers. Since 1981, Dr. Goldstein went through multiple research and clinical fellowships at Cambridge (England), S.U.N.Y.-Downstate Medical Center (N.Y.), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University (N.Y.C.), Yale-New Haven (CT) and Jones Institute for Reproduction in Norfolk (VA). In 1987 the first baby boy was born at St. Luke’s Hospital I.V.F. Program, one of the first 60 programs in U.S. and Canada.

          Dr. Goldstein is active in his two offices (Manhattan and Brooklyn) where thousands of patients were evaluated and over 700 children were born since 1986. He is teaching residents and students of Columbia University A. R. T. (Assisted Reproductive Technologies). Dr. Goldstein is one of the founders of the New York Reproductive Medical Society. He initiates research studies and organizes scientific conferences.

          Dr. Goldstein is a senior attending at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital and an associate Professor at Columbia University.


Dr. Guoping Zheng


          Dr. Guoping Zheng is an experienced NYS licensed acupuncturist. She graduated from Fu Jian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the most prestigious TCM universities in China. She also received her Master degree of TCM from Hu Bei University of TCM and Ph.D. from Guang Zhou University of TCM. She has been practicing in the field of Internal Medicine and Gynecology especially Infertility & Endocrinology for over 20 years. Dr. Zheng has great success in her acupuncture and herbal practice in New York City, and she has been teaching at several oriental medical schools in New York. Dr. Zheng has given speeches in many national and international TCM conferences. Her academic and clinical achievements have been summarized in many articles published in several leading TCM journals.
